With a hint of whimsy illustrated by touches of playful hues and patterns, this room is a luxurious feature adding to the overall feeling of warmth and welcome that the homeowners desire to convey to friends and family. The orchard room earned its unique name because of the extensive use of cherry wood on every surface. Just beyond the room and through the window one may glimpse a cherry orchard, hence the name. Also overlooking the gardens, golf green, and visiting deer, this extraordinary room has become a favorite retreat. Situated on the east side, and planned to be a room used mostly in the evenings, careful lighting design was introduced to capture and enhance the amazing craftsmanship and detailing in the extensive woodwork which was carefully pieced and finished on site. Special landscape lighting was also integrated to enhance the evening ambiance of this very special room.
