Building a house. Building a house for the first time. Building our dream house. One chance to get it right.

My wife and I found a beautiful lakefront lot and set out on the adventure of building our dream house. We were excited and anxious as this was our first and likely last time building. We interviewed builders including Len Suchocki of Chriscan Enterprises. There is an adage, “you only have one chance to make a first impression”. From our first meeting with Len, we were confident that he would be our builder. We were impressed with other houses he had built. We were also impressed with his website, letters of recommendation and portfolio of photographs. He was at every meeting with our house designer, as well as with our interior designer. Even in the frantic building market of the early 2000’s, our planning stage went smoothly. We were comfortable with the presentation of different options and quotes associated with each stage of building. The pros and cons of each option were discussed at length, such that we felt well-informed to make the correct decisions for our specific needs.

The trades people were outstanding. The timing and coordination under Len’s guidance was excellent. The masons, cabinet-makers and finishing carpenters were superb. As somewhat of a perfectionist myself, I demand excellence. With Len’s attention to detail, the result was impressive and outstanding.

Building our dream house was a very enjoyable experience. When you hire Chriscan Enterprises, you get Len Suchocki. Your get an outstanding builder who expects excellence and delivers. His organizational skills always made us feel we were at the top of his list. His follow-up service has also been phenomenal. We have how been in our house for over one year. It is truly our dream house and now our home. It is everything we wanted. We are looking forward to years of living here and creating wonderful memories. We have Len Suchocki to thank in helping us achieve our building goals. It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Len.
